Setup Wireless ActiveSync for PocketPC Smartphones with Microsoft Exchange 2010

You can use Microsoft's Windows-based PDAs/mobile devices to wirelessly sync and access your Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox.

1. On your device select Start > ActiveSync.
   
   
   
   
2. In the ActiveSync panel select Menu > Add Server Source.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter name of the ActiveSync server:
   Note: If your company signed up for Exchange 2010 after 3/29/2012 then you have the Enterprise version of Exchange 2010.
   
   SH11 Exchange 2010 Enterprise
   Server:  mail11.123together.com
   
   SH10 Exchange 2010 Hosted
   Server:  mail10.123together.com
   
4. Check "This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection option."
5. Press Next.
6. In the User Information panel complete the following fields:
   Note: If your company signed up for Exchange 2010 after 3/29/2012 then you have the Enterprise version of Exchange 2010.
   
   SH11 Exchange 2010 Enterprise
   Username:  Company.Username  (This user name can be found in the control panel in the drop down menu for the user > "outlook setup" and username: Company.User.)
   Password:  your email password
   Domain:  sh11.lan
   
   SH10 Exchange 2010 Hosted
   Username: Company.Username  (This user name can be found in the control panel in the drop down menu for the user > "outlook setup" and username: Company.User.)
   Password:  your email password
   Domain:  sh10.lan
    
7. Check "Enable Save password option." Press Next.
8. In the Options panel choose the data you want to synchronize with the server.
   
   
   
9. Press Finish.
10. ActiveSync will perform an initial sync.
