Setup Entourage Exchange Web Services with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010

To setup Entourage Exchange Web Services (EWS) with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 please follow the steps below.

  1. Create a new Identity in Entourage. Then choose tools > accounts. Then Choose new and select “Exchange”.
  2. Enter your email address and choose “configure account manually”.
  3. On the Account Settings tab enter:

    A. Account Name: Enter a name, such as 123Together Mail or Exchange Mail.

    Personal Information:
    A. Name:  your name 
    B. Email Address (Primary Email Address):  your email address

    Server Information:
    Note: If your company signed up for Exchange 2010 after 3/29/2012 then you have the Enterprise version of Exchange 2010.

    SH11 Exchange 2010 Enterprise
    A. Account ID:  Company.Username (This user name can be found in the control panel in the drop down menu for the user > "outlook setup" and username: Company.User.)
    B. Domain:  sh11.lan
    C. Password:  your email password

    SH10 Exchange 2010 Hosted
    A. Account ID: Company.Username (This user name can be found in the control panel in the drop down menu for the user > "outlook setup" and username: Company.User.)
    B. Domain: sh10.lan
    C. Password: your email password

  4. Click the “Advanced” tab at the top and enter in the Exchange Server information.
    Note: If your company signed up for Exchange 2010 after 3/29/2012 then you have the Enterprise version of Exchange 2010.

    SH11 Exchange 2010 Enterprise
    Server: https://owa11.123together.com

    SH10 Exchange 2010 Hosted
    Server: https://owa10.123together.com

    • This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) - Check
    • Override default DAV port: 443 (default) - Unchecked by default
  5. LDAP Info:
    • LDAP server: Leave blank
    • This server requires me to log on - Checked by default
    • This LDAP server requires a secure connection (SSL) - Unchecked
    • Override default LDAP port: 3268 (default) - Unchecked by default
  6. Click OK. Your Exchange account has now been successfully setup in Entourage EWS. Please allow some time for the account to synchronize with the server.
