Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 Application Templates

With our hosted Microsoft SharePoint Foundation solution you can choose from the following application templates to create your site:

• Team Site (default option). A site that teams can use to author, organize and share information quickly and easily. It includes lists for managing announcements, calendar items, discussions and tasks, as well as a document library.
• Blank Site. Blank site which you and your team can customize based on your needs and requirements.
• Document Workspace. An ideal solution for teams and colleagues who need to work together on a major document. It provides a document library where you can store the primary document as well as supporting files. This site also includes a list of tasks to assign action items and lists of resources related to the document.
• Basic Meeting Workspace. This template is designed to help plan, organize and hold a meeting, as well as capture the results. It provides lists for managing meeting attendees, documents, and agenda.
• Multipage Meeting Workspace. A great workspace for meetings that require thorough planning and customization. This template includes features necessary to run a meeting successfully, including preparation and follow-up. In addition, it includes additional blank pages which you can customize based on your requirements.  
• Blank Meeting Workspace. This meeting template is available for you to customize based on your requirements.
• Decision Meeting Workspace. This great template will help you and your team make decisions and track their status. It provides lists for storing documents, creating tasks, and recording decisions.
• Social Meeting Workspace. This template is designed to plan and store materials related to social occasions and events. It includes lists for tracking attendees, providing directions, and storing pictures of the event.
• Wiki Site. This template can serve as an easy way to capture community knowledge. Brainstorm ideas, record internal process information, or gather data from the field. All members can edit any page with full freedom to introduce, alter, or remove content.
• Blog. Blogging space for a person, team, or your whole company. Post ideas, observations and thoughts, and allow your site visitors to comment on your posts.
